Born and raised in Lake Macquarie, Mel is the heart and soul of Grounded Finance. With over 20 years in the finance industry - Mel brings a wealth of experience to every client relationship she builds.

For Mel, home loans and finance are about people first, not just transactions. She believes finance shouldn't feel overwhelming, which is why she's committed to simplifying the lending process, offering honest, straightforward guidance, and making sure every client feels genuinely supported — whether they're first home buyers, refinancing an existing loan, or growing a property investment portfolio.

As a proud local, Mel is genuinely invested in the Lake Macquarie community she serves. She's focused on building long-term relationships with clients, many of whom return to her for every stage of their property journey and refer her to family and friends.

Outside of helping clients secure their dream homes and restructure their finances, Mel enjoys discovering the best local cafés, spending relaxed evenings with family and friends, and keeping up with her two children's busy schedule of activities. She and her husband also enjoy family caravan trips, exploring new places together and creating lasting memories.
